Salford based law firm Carter Moore has ceased trading and gone into administration.
The company based out of St James House in Pendleton has in the past acted to defend high profile clients which include killer nurse 'Victorino Chua' who was found guilty of the horrific multiple murders at Stepping Hill Hospital after he injected saline drips with high levels of insulin. Chua was jailed for life in 2015 after being found guilty of murder by poisoning.
They also acted to defend Barry George who was acquitted of the murder of Crimewatch presenter Jill Dando who was brutally murdered outside her home in London back in 1999.
Carter Moore had specialised in criminal defence, personal injury and high profile fraud cases.
Over the past year the company is said to have faced business challenges and despite having a team of talented staff it has been teetering on the brink of survival. We understand that the companies London office has also closed.
A message on the companies website is advising creditors to contact the administrators 'Begbies Traynor of Deansgate Manchester' who have been tasked with winding up the business. Begbies are specialist licensed insolvency practitioners.
Existing clients are being advised to contact Jeremy Moore via Jeremy@3d-solicitors.com
