BROOKES CYCLES KEEP ROLLING ALONG DESPITE VIRUS LOCKDOWNS

Today we visited Brookes Cycles on Liverpool Road, Eccles to have a chat with the owner, Nick Bayman who gave us an update on how the shop is coping with the Covid crisis.

I posted on Facebook over the weekend that I had been told the shop was closed and was possibly closing down, I was inundated with replies and memories from people who had bought bicycles from their over the years and so  many memories of Mrs Brookes and her kindness and if not eccentric methods of payments for the bikes often on a weekly basis, not to mention her i at a premium, so call in the shop whilst you can.

The family have been selling bicycles for 130 years and it is thought they have been trading in Eccles for almost 100 years, which must be a record in itself, almost everybody I know have bought a bicycle their children and their parents bought them one as well, I know I bought Sean's there.

So please support your local business in these troubled times, you know it makes sense!
