GCSE students in Salford have been commended by Salford City Council on results day for their hard work.
Councillor Teresa Pepper, Executive Support Member for Education and Learning, said:
Quote"Huge congratulations to our GCSE students, we are so very proud of you all. Your hard work and dedication has been rewarded. Thanks must also go to all our teachers, schools, parents and carers who have helped and supported all of our young people. My very best wishes to you all on the next steps in your journey"
