    History With Flynn

And so we start off this series with a little video featuring a volunteer who helped as a Digital Archivist with the huge and important task of uploading photos of Salford during the 1960's and 70's to the sites online archives.

It was with the help of these local community stars that SalfordOnline grew to become Salford's indisputable source of local based news.

Tony from Little Hulton explains how and why he got involved, and what he go out of volunteering with the site.

The photographs, which are thousands in number and feature in many articles and posts, would other wise have remained unseen and kept in storage in the basement at the Salford Local History Library, Salford Museum and Art Gallery.
