  • 17-YEAR-OLD BOY CHARGED AFTER A SPATE OF THEFTS AROUND LANGWORTHY

    Three youths were caught in the act breaking into an address near to Dutchy Road at 5am on the 7th August.

    They were all arrested and a 17 year old boy has since been charged with 8 offences following a spate of burglaries and thefts around the Langworthy area of Salford. Two other youths that were arrested have been released under Police Bail while further investigations take place and evidence is gathered.

    The 17-year-old has been remanded in Police custody and is due in court today.

    The offences include -

    1. Burglary.
    2. Attempt aggravated burglary.
    3. Theft of motor vehicle.
    4. Breach of court order.
    5. Having a bladed article.
    6. Driving with no licence.
    7. driving with no insurance.
    8. Going equipped to steal.
