A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences by GMP Operation Venture team in Salford on Monday 22 May 2023.
Officers were on patrol on Langworthy Road in Salford when they spotted a male behaving suspiciously. Following a short foot pursuit the male was detained and searched.
Police recovered a large quantity of crack cocaine as well as a quantity of cannabis, £300 in cash and a mobile phone.
The 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A & B drugs and was taken into custody for questioning.
In the course of daily patrols later that day officers also seized a further five wraps of crack cocaine and an e-bike that was being driven in an anti-social manner. The owner of the bike was reported for driving offences.
