  • 41 YEAR OLD MAN STABBED IN THE CAR PARK OF THE HENRY BODDINGTON PUB IN PENDLEBURY LAST NIGHT

    The investigation was focused on the opening of the car park and the surrounding area, with a heavy police presence in the area said to have numbered up to 15 emergency vehicles. 

    The 41 year-old male victim was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable but serious condition.

    The pub and its car park were closed off to the public with crime scene tape and forensics officers are on scene but the cordon had been removed by this morning.

    A spokesperson for GMP confirmed that a 41 year old man has been stabbed outside the pub, saying,

    "This is being treated as an isolated incident and there is not believed to be any wider threat to the public,"

    As of this moment no-one has been arrested.

    Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 2568 of 14/09/2019, or the ring Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
