A girl aged just 7-years-old was hit by a car on Lewis Street in Patricroft at around 9:45pm last night (Saturday 3rd July).
Fortunately upon examination by attending paramedics it was determined that her injuries were minor, requiring no hospital treatment.
The driver assisted the police with their enquiries and no arrest was made.
