A girl has been hospitalised following an accident which took place on Liverpool Road, close to the junction with Worsley Road, earlier this morning.
At around 8:30am Paramedics were called to the scene after being alerted by members of the public to a collision between a bus and a pedestrian.
The road was temporarily closed as emergency services dealt with the scene but has since been reopened.
At present it is unknown as to the young girls condition but we are awaiting an update from both NWAS and GMP.
