Emergency services were called to Great Clowes Street in the early hours of this morning after a collision between a pedestrian and a car.
A male in his 20's suffered injuries to his legs and wrists and was taken by ambulance to Manchester Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Additionally a young female passenger within the car also required treatment and was taken to Salford Royal.
Commuters were faced with the road being closed as they headed out to work but it was not long before it was reopened again.
