  • ARREST MADE FOLLOWING AN ASSAULT IN LITTLE HULTON WHICH LEFT A MAN HOSPITALISED WITH SERIOUS INJURIES

    A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault following a disturbance involving a group of men on Kenyon Way in Little Hulton  which took place shortly after 5.30pm this evening (23rd March).

    Emergency services attended and a man was taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries.

    The arrested man remains in police custody at this time.

    Forensics officers remain at the scene as their investigations continue.

    The Air Ambulance was dispatched to the scene.

    In a statement, a spokesperson for GMP, said:

    Shortly after 5:30pm today (Thursday 23 March) Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a disturbance between a group of men at Kenyon Way, Worsley.

    Emergency services attended and a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

    A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault. He remains in police custody for questioning.

    A scene is in place whilst police conduct enquiries. "
