    Salford News

Police and fire services were called after a group of up to five people dressed completely in black brazenly used an Stihl Saw to shear the lock off the roller shutters of the Crypto Exchange Centre store at Hankinson Way on Salford Precinct this evening.

The incident is said to have happened at around 10pm this evening (14th March) and was caught on video and posted onto Twitter moments after.

Shortly afterwards smoke was seen to be pouring from the front of the shop.

Fire crews rushed to the scene to deal with the situation which we believe could have been an anti theft fogger which activated.
