Beloved veterans charity 'Broughton House' is taking no chances when it comes to the health of its elderly residents during the Coronavirus outbreak.

The virus has been shown very clearly to have a devastating effect upon the health of the elderly, sick and those with compromised immune systems and with that in mind, this evening the charity has very wisely issued a statement in which they outline changes which are to be implemented to restrict the potential for residents to come into contact with those carrying the virus.

These include additional hand sanitising for staff as well as limiting visits from members of the local community as well as external entertainment which will be cancelled for the foreseeable future.

Further more, from midnight on Friday 13th March they will be imposing restrictions on visiting their veteran residents to close family members only who will be asked to act with precaution on regarding physical contact.

Visitors who display Flu-like symptoms will be declined contact with residents for their protection.
