You may have read that Salford Media are big supporters of local food banks and have helped out with history walks and more recently thanks to the kindness of polymath, Brian Gorman who donated original artwork. the last one raised a whopping £250.
Today I was contacted by a mutual chum, Phillip Amatt who I know is a massive music fan, with the kind offer of two tickets to see rock legends, Uriah Heep at The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester on, Monday 3rd October.
Phillip is unable to attend despite buying the tickets, he told us:
Quote
"Sadly, I can't go due to medical issues my problem is Osteomyelitis in a toe bone which has me struggling to walk. I’m due for a resolution on Tuesday hopefully. Just wondered if you could somehow raise some money for your Food Bank Charity by selling these tickets to hopefully the highest bidder.
We were going because we both went to the Free Trade Hall in 1971 where they were on with Sha Na Na and Paladin. It was a good night"
What a wonderful gesture to make.
The tickets cost Phillip, £37.50 each and as you can see, they are good seats with an excellent view.
So, if your fan of rock music and these boys can rock, they were inducted into, The Hall of Heavy Metal in 2019 after strutting their stuff for over 50 years please message me directly with your bid or to newsdesk@salfordmedia
We are looking to recoup the face value of the tickets, but we shall accept a decent bid, so get your hands into your pockets and dig deep, you know it makes sense.
