DAISY & OLLIE’S CHRISTMAS SHOW DEBUTS AT WINTER WONDERLAND MANCHESTER

Come and meet the characters of the all new hit children’s TV show at EventCity from Saturday 9th December – Monday 1st January 2018.

‘Daisy & Ollie’ is a recently launched pre-school TV Series, airing daily on Cartoonito. Based on an original idea by Helen Brown and developed by CHF Entertainment, ‘Daisy & Ollie’ encourages young children to be curious and question the world around them. All the while they are helped along by Daisy’s Daddy, voiced by comedian Jason Manford, who not only adds an extra helping of humour, but normally ends up getting involved in the adventure himself!

 Christmas is a time of year that’s full of wonder and magic, capturing Children’s imaginations. The Live Show is no exception as we see Daisy & Ollie exploring Christmas traditions and how they came about whilst Daddy is busy in the shed preparing a very special surprise for them, but what could it be?! With the help of Whizzy the Robot, Boo the Monkey and Santa’s very special helper, Merry Winterbell the Elf, the children have fun decorating the Christmas tree and creating some new traditions all of their own.

Other highlights at this year’s event include Rainbow’s irrepressible duo Zippy and George; the brilliant Christmas Circus; and Pip Ahoy! who returns to Winter Wonderland for 2017. Plus, take a visit to Santa’s house which has been transported from the North Pole to the city, where visitors will be able to explore the hallway, lounge, dining room, kitchen and bedroom. There will also be real reindeer, as well as elves and fairies – who will be ready to have s-elfies taken with youngsters.

The Winter Wonderland event transforms 22,000sqm of EventCity, next to Intu Trafford Centre, into a 'sparkling seasonal extravaganza' featuring more than 70 family rides and attractions - with everything included in the one ticket price (excluding games and food stalls). Sessions last for four hours and run at different times on different days with afternoon and evening slots available.

Visitors are being asked to leave a little extra time this season due to security checks on site.
