Two boys, aged 16 and 17, who cannot be named for legal reasons have been charged with the teens murder.

They have been remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Wednesday 25 May 2022.

A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was also charged with Alan’s murder in March.

Alan was found at Clowes Park, not breathing and in an unresponsive state, on the morning of the 30th of Jan 2022, less than a month after his 17th birthday.

An inquest in February established that the provisional cause of death was due to having sustained multiple stab wounds.
