    Salford News

Manchester Road (A6), close to Moorside Road in Swinton is closed due to a water main burst outside of the Tesco Express shop eroding the subsurface and causing the road to collapse.

This has led to diversions being put into place for all vehicles along the stretch of road which links Swinton with Walkden, Little Hulton and Bolton.

Diamond buses have announced that the 36 and 37 services are currently being diverted on the major bus route.

There is heavy traffic congestion around the area so please avoid if you can.

United Utilities are currently investigating the cause of the leak and hope to have it fixed as soon as possible.
