Now in it's fifth year they are looking to help raise funds for Manchester and Cheshire Dogs’ Home, as well as promoting responsible dog ownership and coming together to share our love of dogs.
This year the are joined again by the PDSA who are providing free dog health checks, chipping and nail clipping and Salford Health Improvement team who will do free human health checks. The festival also includes stalls selling a range of doggy delights, promoting rescues as well as one or two human treats including homemade cakes.
For the younger two legged friends there is also face painting, bouncy castles and guess the breed.
For those four legged friends there will be a dog show, agility course and temptation alley.
The festival kicks off at 10.30am with the dog show starting at 11am opened by the Lower Kersal Morris Troupe.
