  • EMERGENCY SERVICES CALLED AFTER A FIRE AT A PROPERTY ON CROMWELL ROAD THIS MORNING

    Emergency services responded to an incident on Cromwell Road at around 9am on Thursday 16 April 2020, police were called by the fire service responding to reports of a fire at a fast food shop.

    Roads around the area were temporarily closed whilst fire-fighters brought the blaze under control but they were quickly reopened shortly after.

    It is unclear at the present time as to how the fire started but a full investigation is now underway.

    Anyone with information should contact police on 0161 856 7693 quoting 591 of 16/04/20.
