A suspected drug dealer was stopped and arrested over the weekend for possession with the intent to supply drugs after officers from Greater Manchester Police caught him in their nets.

The fishy looking character was found to have digital weighing scales, large quantities of cash as well as a stash of cannabis hidden away on upon his person in what police referred to as 'Tuna Style Cans'.

Drug dealers have become a huge problem in Salford over the past few years and police continue to focus their efforts on both the big fish as well as the small fry.

GMP Salford said on Facebook that their commitment to reducing links to drug dealing and violent crime continues.
