  • FORENSIC INVESTIGATION AS A MAN IS FOUND DEAD AFTER REPORT OF CONCERNS FOR WELFARE

    Police have issued a statement after the body of a man was discovered at around 8am this morning in the courtyard of the Adelphi Weir tower block on Adelphi Street.

    Forensics officers have been at the scene since this morning with a blue tent erected as the investigation continues.

    The circumstances as to how the man died have so far not been determined.

    The alarm was raised to emergency services after it is believed that a member of the public became concerned for the mans welfare.

    GMP have issued the following statement:

    Quote

    "At around 8:20am on Tuesday 11 October 2022, GMP received a report of concern for the welfare of a male in a courtyard on Adelphi Street, Salford. Emergency services are in attendance."

    Anyone with information should contact GMP via 101 quoting 606 11/10/22.
