Two petrol generators have been recovered by police after they were stolen from vans in Eccles last November.

This morning two of Officers from the Eccles Neighbourhood Team braved a trip over the Pennines to Yorkshire in order to execute a warrant to search an address.

Police were able to ping GPS locators on the two stolen generators which subsequently identified an address where they were located.

Both generators have now been recovered and have been returned to the owners.
