Following the February half-term tour around the neighbourhoods of Salford, Sounds From the Other City (SFTOC) are back with ‘finale’ event to mark the end of the Home is on the High Street campaign.

This time the team at SFTOC, in conjunction with Walk the Plank and Langworthy Live, are bringing a daytime live mini-festival to Church Street, Eccles on Saturday 19March. Taking place across 5 different venues along Church Street, the day will feature live music, djs, exhibitions, live art projects, and a burst of colour and energy across the street.

Venues taking part include Malaga Drift, AJs Cafe and Bar, The Northern Type, The Grapes, and Eccles Community Art Gallery, featuring entertainment and activity from 3pm - 8pm, all of which are free to enter.

Come to Aj’s cafe and join our typing pool, make a drawing, tell us what you think, write a poem, or add to our Salford High Streets (slowly) rolling news feed!

    The Grapes

    4.00pm At Home with Lilac
    5.30pm KINGBIRD
    7.15pm Joel C Murray
Music from DJ A2A throughout the day
