    Hot from the oven comes Dave Hill's latest culinary delight, he's only gone and baked an Eccles Pie.. yes you read that correctly, Eccles Pie.

    We were invited down to sample this delicacy which comes after the success of Dave's Salford Reds Pie and the mighty Salford Pie.

    This little beauty is basically... cabbage, ribs, mash, butter beans, white sauce and and a soupcon of mustard for that added bite and before you ask there are no bones or ribs in it! that would be silly if not dangerous.

    Dave explains all in the short video whilst in the course of duty have to sample it... and yes it's delicious as can be expected.

    They will be available from today Saturday 22nd April at The Leaf Bean Pod Cafe, corner off Cawdor Street and Trafford Road, Barton, Eccles.
