An inquest into the death of a Little Hulton storage facility worker heard how the 33-year-old suffered fatal injuries after a collision with a van on Manchester Road in Westhoughton last month.

At 12:50pm on Tuesday 19th of July, Damien Dulce was pronounced dead after the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a road traffic collision with a van travelling in the same direction.

As the van took a right turn, Mr Deluce collided with the rear offside quarter, causing him to be thrown from the motorcycle which resulted in him sustaining multiple injuries which ultimately resulted in his death.

The 60-year-old van driver was arrested at the scene but has since been released pending further investigations by the serious collisions unit.

Mr Dulce's death was provisionally recorded as being attributed to the 'Multiple Injuries' he sustained.

The inquest was adjourned until later this year on the 4th of November.
