  • INQUEST OPENED INTO THE DEATH OF A MAN WHO WAS KILLED AFTER A MOTORCYCLE COLLISION IN BOOTHSTOWN

    The inquest into the death of a man from Astley who was killed after a fatal motorcycle collision with a Vauxhall Astra has been opened at Bolton Coroners Court this afternoon.

    35-year-old Simon Reeves sadly died at the scene on Leigh Road in Boothstown on Friday 18th March of this year.

    It was determined that the cause of his death was due to intra-abdominal and pericardial haemorrhage due to blunt trauma causing liver and heart tears.

    The inquest was adjourned until September 14 2022.

    We wish to offer our heartfelt condolences to his family.
