Salford City Council has announced interim leadership arrangements have now been finalised for its People services directorate with the upcoming departure of Charlotte Ramsden as Strategic Director of People in February 2023.
After the announcement of a new interim Director of Children's Services (DCS), Melissa Caslake, the council has now appointed Maggie Kufeldt as the new interim Director of Adult Services (DASS).
Tom Stannard, Chief Executive said:

Joining our highly regarded team, providing continuity and capacity, the two new experienced interim executive directors for both children's services and adult social services and health will start in the new year. I look forward to welcoming Maggie Kufeldt as interim DASS along with Melissa Caslake as DCS.
"Maggie brings a wealth of experience in comparable leadership roles and as DASS at Liverpool City Council and at the London boroughs of Camden and Islington. She also has in-depth knowledge and understanding of Greater Manchester from working in the sector at a number of the Greater Manchester local authorities including as an executive director (with both DCS and DASS roles) at Oldham MBC.
"She will join our strong leadership team, working closely with our Director of Public Health and ensuring our partnership arrangements in adults services are strong and effective."
