Mark Fellows (38) formally of Salford (now Warrington) has been found guilty of the cold blooded killing of father of five Paul Massey outside his home in Clifton in July 2015.

After a hearing which lasted 26 days, a jury reached a verdict of guilty for the killing of Mr Massey, they also found him guilty of murdering Paul's friend John Kinsella some 3 years later as he and his partner took a walk along a path close to the M62 in Rainhill, Merseyside.

Massey was famously gunned down in a hail of bullets outside his home in Clifton, he managed to alert the emergency services but sadly before they could get there he had already died at the scene.

Both of the men were also accused of attempted murder of Kinsella's partner but the jury found them both not guilty.

Sentencing is to take place tomorrow in Liverpool Crown Court, it is expected they will both receive life sentences, it is unclear how much time they will have to spend behind bars.
