At around 9.15am on Sunday 8 April the robber – who donned a face covering - went into Alex's Off Licence on Liverpool Street where he pulled out a large kitchen knife.
He then threatened a staff member before taking the till. He fled down Peterhead Walk towards Graythorpe Walk.
The offender is described as white, about 5ft 9ins tall, medium to large build and was wearing dark clothing that was inside out. He also had just socks on his feet.
Detective Sergeant Wendy Grace said:

“Although no one was injured this was a brazen attack and the staff member was understandably terrified by the ordeal.
“We are desperate to hear from anyone who saw a man running away from the shop around that time or acting suspiciously in the area.
“If you know anything then please get in touch.”
