Last week week we posted a story about the artist, Brian Gorman who has kindly donated a portrait of Eric Cantona, the Manchester United legend, captured in all his Gallic arrogance and lets face it, we could do with him now...

We have been offered a £100 for it, but we think it's worth a bit more, it will look a treat on your wall or the ideal present for a loved one who supports the Reds, and by purchasing the portrait you will get a warm inner glow by knowing that you have helped feed a family who are less fortunate than you.

    Brian told us:

    Quote

"I am more than happy to help the foodbank out, when I heard that you had sold the Cavani painting, I genuinely felt humbled knowing that in some small way I had helped feed a family for a week or so.

By no means am I a rich artist, possibly the poorest and lowest paid in the country if the truth be known, so if I can help in any small way, perhaps others may consider doing the same.

And I will continue to donate a portrait every month as I promised, perhaps your readers can choose who they would like a portrait of, I was considering doing Thomas Shelby from Peaky Blinders he is quite topical at the moment, it's up to you"

If you wish to purchase this portrait and I hasten to add that we will have it framed for you, this is what you have to do....

Send your bid in either after the story on Facebook or if you wish to remain anonymous being filthy rich or if you are on the  Witness Protection Scheme email us at newsdesk@salford.media

The for offers closes next Monday April 4th at 12pm.
