  • MAN ARRESTED AFTER HOSPITAL PHONE THEFT

    Greater Manchester Police have made an arrest after a 34-year-old man stole a mobile phone from a patient at Salford Royal Hospital over the weekend.

    The phone was quickly recovered by police officers from the opportunistic thief and it was returned to its rightful owner.

    In a statement via the GMP Salford Facebook page, police said:

    Quote

    "34-year-old male detained having entered Salford Royal & stolen a mobile phone from a patient. Phone recovered and returned to the owner."
