Gavin Steven Higgins (12/05/84) of no fixed address has been charged with driving without insurance, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and aggravated vehicle taking.
He has been bailed to appear before Salford and Manchester Magistrates’ Court on 23 October 2017.
Shortly before 7.25pm on Saturday 7 October 2017, a grey Kia Cee’d was travelling on Stern Avenue in Ordsall when it collided with a five-year-old boy.
The boy was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
