  • MAN FROM SALFORD CHARGED WITH CAUSING INJURY BY DANGEROUS DRIVING AFTER AN ALTERCATION IN STOCKPORT

    A man from Salford has been charged with driving offences after a man was driven at.

    Kevin Mannion (02/11/77) of no fixed abode has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, disqualified driving and driving without insurance.

    He has been remanded in custody and will appear before Salford Magistrates Court on Monday 8 February 2020.

    Shortly after 7.30pm on Thursday 31 December 2020, police were called by the ambulance service to a report that a man had been driven at on Heathland Terrace, Cale Green, Stockport.

    Enquiries established that a car was driven at a man following an altercation between two men.

    A 56-year-old man was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury. He has since been discharged.

    Police are continuing to appeal for information in relation to this incident and anyone with information should contact police on 0161 856 9821, quoting 2411 of 31/12/20.
