A man has been found dead at his home on Chorley Road in Swinton by police and paramedics responding to a report of concern for his welfare shortly after 9pm last night (Monday 16th May).
His family have been informed and there are thought to be no suspicious circumstances.
A spokesperson for GMP, said:

"At around 9.10pm on Monday 16 May 2022, we received a report of concern for the welfare of a male at a property on Chorley Road, Swinton.
"Emergency services attended and a man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed. There are believed to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death."
