  • MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN ROOF-TOP FALL ON LANGTON STREET WHILST ATTEMPTING TO EVADE POLICE

    A man who was wanted by police has fallen from a rooftop in Langton Street whilst trying to evade them.

    We are told that officers arrived at a home on the street at approximately 5:15pm on Saturday (15th Feb) with the intent of arresting the man, the reasons for his arrest are unknown.

    The man attempted to escape from the officers onto a roof top where he fell from.

    He was subsequently taken to hospital with what police say are 'Life Changing' injuries.

    A spokesperson for GMP said:

    "Just after 5.15pm officers attended a location on Langton Street, Salford, to arrest a wanted man.

    "The man made off before falling from a roof.

    "The man has serious injuries but they are not thought to be life threatening."

     

    Police enquiries into the incident continue.
