During the early hours of this morning (Saturday 30 November 2019) Emergency Services were called to reports of a 42-year-old man who had gone missing.

As temperatures plummeted below zero, police scrambled the forces helicopter and its infra red cameras aid in the search, fortunately the man was found at Clifton Country Park earlier today and has now been taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

The park was closed for a short period this morning but has now been confirmed as being reopened by the parks rangers team.
