It's that time of year when we start thinking about the Monton Community Festival, which will take place on Saturday 1st July, 2017! The festival will start at 11.00 and it will close at 5.00 and will be held again on Dukes Drive. Planning has already started in earnest behind the scenes and we are delighted to announce the publication of the online stalls application form today.

We hope that you will consider joining us by taking a stall at the festival this year, to make it even more successful than ever.

How to apply for a stall

To apply and pay for a stall and any tables you require, please click on the link below and reserve your space on-line.  Apply for a stall.

As our database of contacts has grown over the last few years, we may be sending this email to more than one of you at the same organisation / club. Please check with your colleagues to avoid duplication!

    Pricing for 2017

    * A stall  costs £35.

    * If you are a charity registered with the Charity Commission, a stall will only cost £30 throughout the whole of the booking period. You will be asked for your Charity Commission number for checking purposes.

*To reserve a table will cost £5 per table (tables are limited, so this will be on a first come, first served basis).

*A stall for hot food vendors will cost £100.

The deadline for applying for a stall is June 1st.

    Payment

Payment can be done online at the time of applying for a stall, which is the easiest way to pay for your stall.

Alternatively, you can pay by cheque. If paying by cheque, please make your cheque payable to MVCA, clearly marking the name of your stall on the back of your cheque.

Please post or drop off your cheque, in a sealed envelope to:-

Celebrations & Cake Creations, 233-5 Monton Road, Monton, M30 9PS

Please DO NOT  post cash – if you want to pay in cash, please pop it in an envelope, clearly marked with your stall’s details and drop it off in person.

    Health and Safety

You will be asked to confirm that you have read our on-line Health and Safety terms and conditions during the online application process, so please take a moment to read these.

Hot and cold food may be served from a stall. All food and drinks stalls must meet Health and Hygiene requirements, set down by Salford City Council. Insurance and appropriate certificates will be necessary. It is your responsibility to obtain these and you will be asked to provide a copy of these and a risk assessment to the Festival Committee before the Festival. You must be able to adhere sufficiently to the appropriate food hygiene and Health and Safety regulations, and this will be at your own risk.

    General Information

As the members of the Monton Festival Committee are all unpaid volunteers with full time jobs, there may be a delay acknowledging your email, but we shall aim to reply to you within 72 hours from receipt. If you have not heard back, please contact us after that time.

    If you have any questions, please email montonfestival@hotmail.com or call 0161 789 8999 / 07778 575 961.
