Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward with information.
Sergeant Darren Hancock of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:
Quote“In a split second, a man’s life has been taken away and my heart goes out to his family, who are being comforted by officers.
“If you were around the Eccles Interchange at the time of the collision, or saw the bike and Jaguar as they travelled from Manchester to Liverpool, please contact police.
“Dash cam footage will be a key part of our enquiries, so I’d ask anyone with footage who was travelling on this part of the M60/M62 earlier today, to send this through to our collision investigation team.”
