Would you like to get married in a former court house? Tie the knot in one of Salford’s beautiful parks? Or sign the register in the heart of a 1930s town hall?
The brand-new Venues in Salford website has been created to give couples all the information they need to plan their special day at one of Salford City Council’s venues.
The website has details of The Court House, Worsley, Buile Hill Park Hall and the Salford Suite at Salford Civic Centre. It allows couples to check details from the cost and catering available, to disability friendly access and compare between the venues before booking.
Dominic Clarke, Head of Citywide and Community Services at Salford City Council said:

“Our website gives a professional, comprehensive, tasteful and modern introduction to the council’s own venues and services on offer. We have an established reputation for first class hospitality, attention to detail and service.
“Many people delayed weddings because of the pandemic but restrictions are beginning to ease so our new website will help people plan ahead. Up to 15 people can now take part in weddings and receptions, and from 17 May, 30 people can attend. We look forward to giving a warm welcome to guests so they can have a wonderful time with champagne and celebrations once again.”
