Updated: Keith has now been found safe and well.

He left the hospital about 3.30pm in the direction of Stott Lane and was wearing a dark grey trilby hat and a camel-coloured suit.

Keith is white with short grey hair and wears glasses.

He suffers from dementia, is not familiar with the area and officers are extremely concerned that he has been outside all night in the cold weather.

We want to make sure he is safe and well and are worried he might be alone and frightened.

We are urging anyone who recognises Keith, or believes they may have seen someone matching his description, to please contact police.

You can call us on 101 quoting incident number 1732 of 1 December 2017.
