Manchester’s favourite Irish venue O’Shea’s has announced a two-week Irish festival, with celebrations kicking off on St Patrick’s Day 2022

This year, O’Shea’s Irish Festival will put an end to the two-year celebratory drought, topped off with pint after pint of ice-cold Guinness on tap.

Held on the site of O’Shea’s famous Beer Garden, where many magical nights of Mancunian silliness were had last summer, this is the place to bring your best craic, with smiles and laughs aplenty.

The now indoor venue, a stone’s throw from Piccadilly Station, has been beautifully re-designed, draped in the colours of the Emerald Isle.

The brand-new food menu is brought to you by the tasty Eat New York team, featuring an Irish American twist with free flowing cocktails featuring espresso and passionfruit martinis. Tickets are VERY limited and are expected to fly out fast.

Paul Mackey, Co-Owner of O’Sheas said:

“Once again this is for the people and for the city. We celebrate a return for the long awaited St Patrick’s Day celebration and we promise to fit that 2 year wait into a fun packed 2 weeks. The beers are cold and the welcome is warm. We have missed you all dearly and we can’t wait to see you at the festival!”

Music calendars include a fixture of bands & local performers including; Green Hot Clover, The Joe Keegan Band, Live Lounge, Culainn, Nicky Mc Callan, Quare Craic, Harry James and the Irish Ramblers, Mollys, Chambers featuring Richard Sanderson on fiddle, The Last Drop.

O’Shea’s has held a legacy in the city since it opened way back in 1994. They’re built a reputation for pouring some of the best Guinness outside of Ireland, alongside their brilliant live shows and heart-stopping sports.

The new site at Piccadilly is bound to encapsulate even more of the true Irish tradition of downing pints of delicious stout, gobby, guitar-led live music and loads of laughs! You’re guaranteed to have the best craic at Manchester’s biggest Irish celebration.
