“We can confirm that a member of staff was arrested following vigilant work from our team.
“As this is part of an ongoing police investigation, we cannot comment further.”
A full investigation is now underway.
Meanwhile, the prison has had a number of issues with it's staff, in July two male staff members were arrested on suspicion of smuggling in prohibited items and in November last year (2018) two former workers were sent to prison themselves after they were found guilty of up to £100,000 worth of electrical equipment from the prison which they later sold online shopping website eBay.
