A 39-year-old man from the Salford area has also been arrested today on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence and conspiracy to commit GBH.
It follows ongoing investigation Operation Macaroni into the shooting of a 30-year-old man in a car park on East Lancashire Road on Sunday 4 February 2018.
At the time the man was taken to hospital with a serious gunshot wound to the leg. He has since been discharged and continues to recover.
Previously, a 39-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm and conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence. She was released under investigation.
A 31-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of obstructing police and money laundering and he too was released under investigation.
A man and a woman have been charged in connection with the shooting.
Detective Inspector Dave Turner, from GMP’s Salford borough, said:

“This investigation does not stop here and we will do everything we can to find those responsible for this shooting and bring them to justice.
“I’d like to thank colleagues at Nottinghamshire for their support today in assisting with this latest arrest.”
