  • PEDESTRIAN IN HOSPITAL AFTER COLLISION WITH A CAR IN ORSDALL THIS MORNING

    Police and paramedics were called to the scene of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Ordsall Lane just before 9am on Friday 28th Jan.

    A man, said to be aged in his 30s, was hit by a car, a North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) spokesperson, said that the mans injuries are not thought to be serious.

    So far there have been no arrests made, and enquiries are ongoing.

    A spokesperson for GMP said:

    "Police were called shortly before 9am this morning to a report of a collision involving a car and pedestrian on Ordsall Lane in Salford.

    "Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made."
