    A new play by Libby Hall, the writer in residence at Salford Arts Theatre, Please Let Me Get What Want, premieres this week at Salford Arts Theatre, Kemsing Walk, Salford.

    Described as being an emotional and comedic exploration or friendship, ambition and morality it tells of two friends, Ellis and Jack, one an orphan the other a neglected boy. who find their lives entwined,  performed By Joel Hill and Vincent Purcell.

    Set against a backdrop of Salford, life seems to deliver blow after blow, can they ever really get what they want? Who will they become in the search for happiness?

    How can you resist a play that combines those two good things, A Smiths lyric for a title and set in Salford?

    So support your local arts theatre and it has to be said that Roni Ellis and Scott Berry are doing a fantastic job in not only keeping the Salford Arts Theatre going, but involving the local community in so many events there, cap doffed.
