Shortly after 1.10pm on Tuesday 3 October 2017, police were called to reports of a man being pushed into a car on Windmill Road.

It was reported that two men had been seen forcing a man into the back of a black Audi A3 before fleeing in the direction of Pimlott Way.

Further enquiries established that the Audi was being driven with cloned registration plates and had been seen earlier that day at The Trafford Centre.

The duo have been described as aged between 20-30 and white. One of the men was wearing a jacket and the other was wearing a t-shirt.

Detective Inspector Simon Akker of GMP’s Trafford borough, said:

    Quote

“We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of the man that was pushed into the car.

“We are trying to establish the exact circumstances surrounding this incident and want to ensure that the man has not come to any harm.

“I am appealing to anyone that may have any information that could help us to please come forward.

“If you witnessed anything suspicious in the area that you believe may be connected to this incident then please contact police.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 1049 of 03/10/17, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 11.
