  • POLICE APPEAL FOR INFO AFTER A DRIVE FAILED TO STOP AFTER A COLLISION WITH AN 11 YEAR OLD BOY IN SEEDLEY

    Police  have launched an appeal for information following a collision in on Lower Seedley Road.

    At around 5.20pm on Friday 10 January 2020 a silver Ford Focus was travelling along Lower Seedley Road when it collided with a boy, aged 11.

    The boy was taken to hospital and has since been released.

    The driver of the Ford Focus failed to remain at the scene and was seen to drive off onto Coomassie Street toward Seedley Road.

    Constable Scott Dowell of GMP’s Salford District said:

    “Thankfully the boy has made a good recovery following the collision.

    “Were you in the area at the time? If you witnessed the collision, have dashcam footage or any information that may assist us, please get in touch.”
