    Salford News

Not really Salford News but still nonetheless it is on our border and people passing to and from work may have witnessed it. If you can help please contact police on the numbers bellow.

Police and ambulance attended and a 30 year-old man, the rider of the motorbike, was taken to hospital where he sadly later died.

Police Constable Edward Lister from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said

    Quote

“My thoughts are with the man’s family at this devastating time, I can’t imagine what they are going through. Our specially trained officers are supporting them.

“As this was late at night, there were very few people around who witnessed the collision so we are appealing for anyone who may have CCTV or dash-cam footage of the incident to get in touch.

“I want to be in a position to give the man’s family the answers they deserve.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 0161 856 4741, alternatively call 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
