At around 7.40pm on Wednesday 22 June 2022, police received a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a grey Volkswagen Golf close to the Premier Off Licence on Worsley Road, Eccles.
An 11-year-old girl was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries and is now said to be recovering at home.
Police say that no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
