Police appeal for information following the theft of a motorbike which is used to transport vitally important blood supplies to those in desperate need.

The vehicle was stolen,  between the hours of 0100 and 1000 this morning (02/09/2023) and was found damaged and abandoned in the wasteland behind Cumberland Avenue in Cadishead.

Police say that they believe the offenders may have used Allenby Road and the surrounding estate to wheel it through to the Allotments. If anyone has ring camera or CCTV footage, police would appreciate if you came forward.

The vehicle is currently now off the road, meaning it can not fulfil its purpose, which puts lives in danger.

Police can be contacted on 101 or online quoting reference 1115-02092023.

Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously.

Police say that they are following other lines of inquiry at this time.
